Given the pressing demands of the Holiday Rush and the imminent release of Sonic the Hedgehog, the development timeline for the game was notably constrained. Consequently, the team encountered challenges when attempting to replicate the film’s awe-inspiring animation and remarkable musical quality on the 16-bit console. Notwithstanding these obstacles, Sega impressively unveiled Fantasia at the Consumer Electronics Show in May, subsequently showcasing it at the Tec Toy launch in mid-summer.
